Grizzly Cycles isn’t just a bike shop—it’s Bakersfield’s gateway to adventure, connection, and community.
We’re a husband-and-wife-run crew of riders, wrenchers, and dreamers who believe bikes can transform cities and lives. Nestled at the edge of the Southern Sierras, our shop is built for those who crave the long ride, the dirt road, the sunrise start, and the post-ride burrito.
We specialize in custom builds, fast and honest repairs, and gear that’s been tested in the wild—not just hyped online. Every bike we touch is treated like it’s part of the family, and every rider who walks through our door is met with respect, humor, and real talk.
We’re here for the bikepackers, the gravel grinders, the singletrack seekers, and the folks just trying to get to work with a little more joy. We stock brands we believe in, support local events, and build relationships that go way beyond the sale.
Grizzly Cycles is about more than bikes—it’s about building a more connected, joyful, and human Bakersfield.
We ride local. We explore more. And we’re proud to be part of a growing movement that sees cycling not just as sport, but as culture, community, and a way forward.
Grizzly Cycles is now open Mondays! New hours: Mon–Fri 10–7 (closed 2–3 for school pickup), Sat 12–5. Family-first changes to serve you better
