Meet the Grizzly Cycles Ambassadors: The Riders Behind the Stoke
At Grizzly Cycles, it’s never just been about bikes. It’s about the people who ride them—and the stories, grit, and goodness they bring along for the journey. Our ambassadors aren’t just repping the shop. They’re living the Grizzly ethos: ride hard, care harder, and never lose the joy in the adventure. Meet the crew who keep the stoke high, the pedals turning, and the fire lit.

Drew Raney
Drew doesn’t just ride single speed—he lives it. A minimalist on the bike but a maximalist when it comes to giving back, Drew launched the All Kids on Bikes program in his school district, raising thousands to get students rolling. Whether he’s grinding out miles or mentoring the next generation, Drew rides with intention and soul. He’s proof that you don’t need gears to go far—you just need purpose.
Gene Hanson
Gene’s been around since day one—literally. A committed commuter who turns everyday errands into epic rides, Gene logs more miles in a month than most of us dream of in a year. He’s always first to say yes to a wild idea or last-minute bikepack, and his belief in this shop runs as deep as his tire ruts. Gene doesn’t just bleed Grizzly—he pours it into every ride.
Alejandro Daza
Alejandro is the Man behind CUMBRE and the spirit of resilience on two wheels. He’s the kind of guy who sees a mountain and says, “Let’s go.” But more than that, he leads by example—never compromising, never quitting, and always lifting others with him. He rides for something bigger, and reminds us that the journey isn’t just upward—it’s inward.
Mikey Fernandez
Mikey might finish the ride twice as fast, but he’s the first to pull over and wait with a smile. Generous to the core, wise beyond his years, and always down to rally the crew, Mikey brings a spark to everything Grizzly touches. He’s part rocket fuel, part campfire—quick to lift you up and steady when the trail gets rough.
Jose Orozco
Jose is the calm in the chaos—the tinkerer, the philosopher, the guy who shows up with a rigid fork, a fine palate, and absolutely zero time for bike trends. He rides what he loves and doesn’t flinch when the pressure’s on—unless it’s tire pressure, in which case, he’s got a pump in hand before you even ask. Dependable, dialed, and delightfully unmoved by our attempts to “just try suspension,” Jose keeps the crew grounded and rolling smooth.
In Loving Memory of James Coyle
James didn’t need a map—he just needed bikes and friends. He brought joy, laughter, and a “just happy to be here” energy that made every ride better. Though he’s no longer with us physically, his spirit rides on in every mile we share. We miss you, James. And we carry you with us always.
This team isn’t just about performance or prestige. It’s about people who ride with heart—who show up, get muddy, lift each other, and do it all again next weekend. They’re family. They’re fire starters. They’re Grizzly Cycles.
Stay wild. Ride together. And if you see one of these folks out there, give ’em a nod—they’ve earned it.
